“Good basic lunch”
Reviewed 20 October 2013

Our first visit was today. We just finished hiking at High Falls and this place was recommended for a good locally owned meal. I got the Philly Chicken sandwich. Had no sauce of any kind but had a very good flavor. Wife had a grilled chicken sandwich with some blue cheese goop on it. Both very tasty. 90% of the homemade potato chips really good although some were soggy. Good iced tea and the staff was very friendly! Basic diner look inside- not big on atmosphere; didn't expect any. We'll be back! $17 before tip.

“Much Better”
Reviewed 18 October 2013

I had lunch here for the first time, in a long time. I had the Italian wrap. It was very tasty, and super fresh. All the ingredients seemed very fresh!! What a pleasure the waitress was, her name is Leslie, ask for her. They make their own potato chips which were crisp, fresh, and delightful. The new owner was exited to stop by our table to make sure we were taken care of, and to tell us about the up and coming remodel for the restaurant. I can't wait to go back. What a joyful little place to be. I was so happy, I left our waitress a $20.00 tip on a $17.00 ticket. PLEASE keep up the great work!!!

“What a let-down”
Reviewed 15 October 2013

Not our first visit. Used to like it. Now really disappointed -- Grammy's seems to have lost its friendly atmosphere and welcoming tone. The food prep and quality have slipped, especially at lunchtime. A very small serving of the sorriest limp and fatty french fries! Overheard two other tables being belatedly informed that they didn't have the fixins for their simple orders -- and that's after they'd already waited quite a while of their lunch time. Not so much as a refill of iced tea during an endless wait for my party. A young waitress way too long on confidence and woefully lacking in competence. We couldn't tell if she was actually on the planet. Also overheard: Your table needs wiping? Yeah, they all do! Brought friends along as guests, and feel the need to book a makeover somewhere. What's gone wrong?

“Breakfast was OK, but took an hour to get food”
Reviewed 6 October 2013

We live nearby and decided to take some out of town guests to Grammy's for Sunday breakfast. We had done this before the recent change in ownership and liked it. This time (under new management I supposed) the place seemed disorganized, the wait staff was harried, and the kitchen was unbelievably slow. It took almost AN HOUR for our food to come out with never once an apology or explanation of what was taking so long. Even then, it took another 15 minutes at the end to get our check (we finally stood up and just camped out at the cash register to get our bill). The food was OK, but certainly no better than the Waffle House in Brevard where you can get the same breakfast and be out the door in less than 30 minutes. Not sure we'll be back. One of our neighbors just went to their Saturday lobster boil and said it wasn't good as well.

“Good breakfast”
Reviewed 21 September 2013 via mobile

Stopped in here before doing some hiking in the area and wasn't disappointed. Had to park around back so felt that this was a good sign. The breakfast was wonderful and also very filling. I had eggs and hash and my friend had an omelet. Will stop in again for sure.
