We really enjoyed our stay here. There aren't many motels in the area. & we'd planned on staying at the Hampton Inn in Swansboro but saw this first. So glad we stopped! Dave & Kay are great hosts. They've really dressed this 50's motel up.

Everything and more than we had hoped for! Beautiful setting, clean rooms and the most hospitable folks we have ever met. Thank you so much for fulfilling our dream. We had easy access to kayaking, the ocean and great food. And the best part was the people we met while staying there. Thanks from your friends in Nebraska!

Room Tip: They are all good!

Beautiful little motel right on the water. We took our boat with us and had a wonderful weekend. The rooms were cute, clean and comfortable. Dave, the owner, could not possibly have been nicer to us and our kids. We didn't just have a great weekend, we made new friends and can't wait to go back again.

My boyfriend and I were looking for a place to getaway to for the weekend and decided the Waterway Inn would be a great place to stay. We came with jet ski in tow and relaxation on our minds and we did not leave disappointed. Dave gave us our choice of two rooms and I chose the Pink Flamingo themed room on the second floor. The room was small, but very neat and clean. I must also add that the water pressure in the shower was excellent. The boat slip to put the jet ski in was right next door and the owners let us tie up to one of the docks too. Dave was very friendly and we met several other guests that all treated us like family. We are planning another trip back toward the end of the summer.

Owner Dave was very friendly. We checked in late (around 10pm), and he had the room ready for us with the key in the door. The rooms are small, but very clean and comfortable. Ideal location for kayaking. Definitely recommend staying here- love supporting a locally owned business.

Stayed here while house hunting. The rooms are small, but clean and right on the water. It is next to a kayak and SUP rental, so easy to put in and enjoy the intercoastal. There are chairs out on the water that make for a nice evening location to hang out.

Closest restaurants are in Swansboro, but there isn't the biggest selection.

I recently visited the Cedar Point area to do some househunting for a few days. When I checked in the owner Dave was very friendly and welcomed me to the area. Although I was a bit early my room was ready to go. Before deciding to stay here I had looked at a few of the bigger hotels in the area but decided to go with the this smaller Mom and Pop hotel....glad i did. The location was perfect. It's very close the beach and right on the intercoastar waterway with a grassy area, chairs, picnic tables and a fire pit that overlooks the water. There are even a few docks you can walk out on and watch the boats go by. Room was very clean, had a fridge and microwave....perfect for what I needed. I would see the owners every morning making sure the property was cleaned and kept in pristine condition. They would ask how my stay was and how my house hunting was going. The level of personal caring for their guests was something that I know I wouldn't have recieved anywhere else. I highly recommend the Waterway Inn if you are staying in the area, you won't be dissapointed.

Room Tip: All rooms are great, but there are a few on the second floor that will give you a little better view...
