A couple of other reviewers mention that the waiters seemed surly. Dining there last night my first impression was to agree but as the night wore on I realized the impeccably clad young men were not snobbish or unfriendly but were simply trying so hard to be professional and unobtrusive. When we made an effort to chat with them (albeit a strong effort), they were actually quite friendly and personable. So one tip to the management: Tell your young waiters to smile. The service was very good.
Now on to the wonderful food. Authentic and high quality Indian food is difficult to find. But the Mint delivers on both points. We sampled several appetizers, breads, and entrees of different styles and ingredients. All were excellent, completely wonderful in every dimension.
I will definitely return for the food and hope for a smile.
