“Beer- 1 year out of date, spinach calzone-NO spinach all cheese”
Reviewed 2 February 2014

I ordered a spinach calzone and a Samuel Adams beer. The beer was almost a year beyond drink by date. (March 2013). And the calzone was full of mozzarella and ricotta but VERY little spinach. In fact, the spinach was equivalent to almost a bite. I seriously recommend you check the date of your beer and double check your food.

“Hard-working, friendly staff in a great location”
Reviewed 17 December 2013

Alfredo's Pizza could easily be the dumpy pizza joint in our local sleepy mall, but the family that owns it works hard & has built a loyal customer base. They even honored a 2003 coupon I brought with me last time! Great place for having a toddler walk around a little. One recommendation, not criticism, is to consider making their house salad ($3.25) bigger for sharing & accordingly to charge the same for all salads ($5.50).

“First time”
Reviewed 17 December 2013 credit card Amex Cardmember Review

We went out on a Friday to have some pizza and found the spot where we intended to go to be empty and out of business. There were a couple of choices and although this business has been around for sometime, we had never chosen it. WWe gave it a try and the pizza and service were very good. We stumbled upon neighbors there. We had a delightful experience and will be bsck often.

“Great pizza, price, and staff!”
Reviewed 13 July 2013

My husband & I recently relocated to Chapel Hill & had walked by the restaurant several times while visiting University Mall. We kept saying we were going to try it one day. Well, yesterday we did & we were so impressed. The owner took our order & took the time to explain the various pizzas, specials, etc. It was obvious that he & his staff take a lot of pride in their restaurant/accomplishment. Service was excellent as was the pizza special--$6.50 for a large eizza slice, large fresh salad, and drink. You can't beat that anywhere. With Alfredo himself conversing with us and an Italian Sirius radio station in the background, it was like being in Italy!! You have several choices of slices for the special. We got parmesan chicken & it was superb. The crust is light & not filling--so much so that we wanted to go back for a second visit today. This time we tried Carolina BBQ chicken, and it, too was great. You can't ask for a better local pizza place with better prices. Be sure to check this out.

“The best pizza in Chapel Hill”
Reviewed 10 March 2013

Alfredo's Pizza Villa is the best pizza in Chapel Hill. As an native New Yorker I am hard to please when it come to pizza, but I really enjoy Alrredo's. Their pizza villas in Chapel Hill and just over the line in Durham as equally sexellent. Great choice for pizza
