Description: Bigger Better Biscuits for Breakfast and Lunch! In brief, Sunrise was established in 1978 in Louisburg, NC (actually 1977 but that is a longer story) and has been responsible for providing Bigger Better Biscuits for Breakfast and Lunch ever since. Our biscuit recipe is based on my Grandmother's recipe. Her biscuits helped give her the stamina to give birth to 17 children and live to almost 100. Our Award-Winning Chapel Hill location is a Drive-Thru Only Restaurant for your convenience. The Louisburg location features a Drive-Thru option as well as seating. Our regular customers particularly value our great food and fast, friendly service. In addition to biscuits, we also serve hamburgers and hot dogs. Our sandwiches include barbecue, chicken salad and tuna salad (chicken and tuna salad in Chapel Hill only and made on-site). A real southern treat is our sweet tea. Come by soon! Our Chapel Hill restaurant is located at: 1305 East Franklin Street Chapel Hill, NC 27514 (919) 933-1324 Our Louisburg restaurant is located at: 208 S. Bickett Blvd. Louisburg, NC 27549 (919) 496-2609

“A Chapel Hill must do”
Reviewed 15 June 2014 via mobile

It is very good and very popular. As seen in the movie Bad Grandpa. This completes one's trip to UNC. Be prepared for a wait, especially on Sunday morning, but worth every minute.

“Large fluffy biscuits!!”
Reviewed 13 May 2014

Wonderful biscuits…twice as large as the fast food ones available elsewhere!!! It's a bit dangerous to go there b/c it is so popular, cars are forced to wait in line on the highway…be careful out there!! :) Drive through only!!!

“Country Ham and Great Service!”
Reviewed 11 May 2014

The country ham biscuit is something that we can't get at home. The biscuit was hot and good sized and the country ham is perfect. A cute drive through-only restaurant that offers many biscuit choices. Just delicious!

“Nice Biscuits ”
Reviewed 8 May 2014 via mobile

The best biscuit I ever had. I usually would not try biscuits because they leave my mouth dry. However, they made biscuits crispy and left an aroma of butter yet not making me thirsty. For those who don't like biscuits, try once of the biscuits and sense the southern taste of the traditional historical food.
