In all fairness, this has got to be another "ethnic" restaurant that is jaded by the fact that college kids will eat anything if you call it something exotic. I have eaten at Thai restaurants around the world, including Sydney Australia, where more is expected. This being the only Thai restaurant for miles around, maybe the younger crowd is impressed by it. I was not. I ordered take-out, the spicy chicken with rice and coconut milk sauce. What I got can only be described as something that Campbell's would not bother putting in a can.
The chicken was chunks of white meat that looked like someone had hand picked off of last night's bones. The rice was packed into a separate container, and the only color in the meal was one tiny slice of those Thai red peppers that are usually abundant in the meal. As for spicy? I could have gotten more flavor out of a pack of ramen noodles. Plus, the lady at the front counter was really unfriendly.
But again, it may just be all in keeping with this snotty college town. Who knows. Don't waste your time or money on this place.
