“Perfect in the spring”
Review of Coker Arboretum

Coker Arboretum

When everything is in bloom, nothing beats a warm afternoon in the arboretum. You'll often see students and professors and nature lovers taking in the scenery and sunlight. Great photo opportunities here as well.

This is a really lovely place to stop and study or just relax. It's tucked away on campus, and even though it's not terribly large, there are lots of things to see .

Right of off Franklin St is the Coker Arboretum. It is small, not Kew Gardens or the Jardin Botanico, but it is an oasis in the bustling metropolis that is Franklin st. Go in with a coffee or a picnic or just sit down and enjoy the silence

The Coker Arboretum is such a nice place to wander while visiting UNC. There are several paths that wind through it and so many types of trees and plants to explore. It would be a great place to take a picnic or have coffee in the morning and read the paper.

Wonderful gardens and natural beauty. Quiet and peaceful. Lots of benches for reading and meditating.
