We booked our room for 3 days for smoking, king size. When we got there we were told that we don't want a smoking room, they are not as nice as the non-smoking. We got to our room (after having to park out front because they do not have adequate parking) and were given a double bed instead. Yes, there is a microwave and small refrigerator in the room but the microwave did not have a turntable so it couldn't be used. The refrigerator reeked and we did not even put our bottled water in it. The hairdryer had frayed ends where it looked like it had been on fire. Very small room which is fine for the price. Clean enough, but the actual building is very scary. The floors are not level and it feels like the whole room is leaning. There was a deep divit by the door in the floor which I almost tripped over every time I entered the room. The management is horrible and not very friendly. Breakfast? Stale bread for toast, stale cereal and bagels which you have to eat in front of the manager - no food can be taken out of the area. Do yourself a favor and pay $20 more a night for a decent hotel.

This place was a complete joke. If it wasn't the thugs being loud all hours of the morning, it was the semi traffic that shouldn't of even been allowed in the first place as the parking was small enough. There was a condem wrapper behind the broken desk. At one point I walked outside and someone was getting arrested. I looked up and it looked like something you would see in a prison show with everyone hanging over there balcony. I even referred to the place as the Charlotte Correctional Center/Days Inn. Will never stay at this dump again.

After four months, we decided to take a trip to Jacksonville, FL. It was a long drive, so we decided to stay in Days Inn again, as we did twice in the past. If you are looking for a low priced hotel, with the three star aminities, then this is the place to stay. Room is equipped with microwave, fridge, new carpet, nice pictures and good furniture. Important part is the furniture top and sink top is real Granitte, it is not fake, like the one which is available in the stores. Best part is, their think, pillow top mattresses.

Good for a quick night's sleep on a trip; the available breakfast isn't worth checking out, but that's OK. The room was clean, just old. Front office personnel were average, but polite and efficient.

was there end of march during spring break with the fam. Starting with the interaction at front desk, to the time of check out, the staff was extremely courteous and professional. The rooms were large, and beds very comfortable (felt like new almost). The 24hr front desk was quite a good service, in case anything was needed. Ability to either walk down or drive an exit or two for great food and shopping was a huge plus. I had been to this particular location several years prior, and from the looks of things much work has been done to maintain or improve the looks of this hotel. I would definitely recommend a stay here for anyone!
