Thanks so much for your very affordable hotel. Better than any of the other low cost hotels I've stayed at throughout the United States. A clean room and a very friendly and helpful staff greeted us upon our arrival. We only stayed one night, but will be sure to come back next time we are in town. We would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Charlotte.

One night stay, bed, towels, washroom all clean. Walls kinda dingy, need paint.Carpet, very old.
Hair dryer broken. Heat/ac worked amazing! Guy at desk very nice. Stayed in room 224, second floor,I recommend staying second floor.
So I've seen worse, I think for budget it's does the job.

Knew it wasn't a good sign when I saw the hand made sign saying open weekly. Not the good kind of hand made, I might add. The five year old and a paint pen kind of hand made. Then when we walk into the office, it's cluttered and very unprofessional and unwelcoming. And images of the smiling nice faces at the desk were replaced with what I think was the maintenance man; who processed our check in. He was very nice, but I wouldn't have a guy in a sleeveless Carolina panthers t- shirt running the front office of my hotel if I had one.
The rooms are small and every time the rooms next door shut their door it sounded like they were breaking through the wall. Also it looked like every room on the upstairs was missing something on the bottom of the door and there was about a one inch gap at the bottom of the door. So we could hear every ambulance siren, every horn that blew, and the people that were yelling and arguing about someone hit a car in the parking lot at three in the morning. There were some questionable people walking around the hotel when we came in at night and I guess these were the people that were arguing at crazy hours in the morning and was afraid of what could happen.
So go ahead and spend the extra money per night and stay somewhere decent. Don't book threw Priceline ... I really feel ripped off paying $103 for two nights of that garbage.

There are few of our competitors getting these reviews posted. We opened the hotel in just 2012 and competing with the hotels who have been here and not doing well. They are jealous of our success.

This hotel is cheap but if you can afford it spend a few extra bucks and not sleep beside the noisy highway in a smelly room that is around 150 square feet. This hotel is fine in a pinch but don't be lured by its rock bottom price if you plan to spend more than a few sleeping hours.

We came to Charlotte for the DNC and stayed here 6 nights. I expected to pay inflated prices, but this was really over the top opportunisim by owner of a very run-down motel. The rooms are tiny and in very poor condition (gaps in the grouting in the bathroom, a towel rail that fell off the first time we used it, dirty carpet, damaged door jamb and dodgy lock, noisy air-conditioning. It is quite a way out from the uptown area and while there is a local bus, the service is very poor at night so we ended up having to catch a taxi a few times.
Only redeeming features - free wifi, ethusiastic staff eager to please.
If you have a car and are only there for a night, and paid normal rates, then possibly ok. Just know that it is rundown despite the website saying it has been recently redecorated/updated.

Room Tip: If you are staying, ask for a room at the back, further away from the traffic noise
