There are good and bad things here - the good a made to order soup bar and cooked "dim sum" style bites. The bad - a sub standard buffet focused on fried food and heavy gooey sauces. Best bet - eat the soup and the passable sushi and leave

We always come here for the noodle soup which they make right in front of you and is totally delicious! But other than the soup this is a mediocre buffet, at best. The sushi, although made fresh, always seems to be very dry and lots of dishes are swimming in garlic. At $30 pp, when the crab legs are available, this is not the cheapest place to eat. I think the crab must be frozen in bulk as it is always very watery. The wait-staff always seems very disinterested. If it wasn't for the soup we couldn't ever come back to Tin-Tin.

It is not that cheap but not that expensive, $22 per person you get an authentic chinese food with a lot to choose from. Being a chinese background myself, i have been to alot of chinese buffet places where you know if the cooks are just there to cook regardless of what is the outcome or if the cooks really are from china. I would recommend this to anyone visiting charlotte and wanting to get a good selection of food, good and plenty of selections that you dont easily find on other chinese buffet. I dont like the Dragon House buffet or the China buffet in Independence Blvd. They are not that good but this one is. Try and you should find out for yourself what I am talking about.

Costs $150 for 5 of us to eat on Friday night because of crab legs on the bar and only three of us eat them . Although it is a wide variety of food on buffet , we found several items to be served cold to the touch . We were worried about possible food poisoning and will not return.
Servers were very nice .
