This was my first visit to an Indian restaurant since I moved to the US from India. I didn't have high expectations but it turned out to be great. The service was good. Since they have a buffet on Sundays we opted for that. It was $11 per person and it came with a free Dosa at the end of the meal( you can choose from plain dosa or masala dosa). The buffet food was tasty. They had tandoori roti, palak paneer, some south indian curry, rice, custard, kheer and lot of other stuff to choose from. My favorite was the Pulao Rice with the Palak Paneer. They had a cleanliness rating of 100 which I have not seen in any other restaurant. Over great place to enjoy an Indian meal. Recommended.

Me and my wife both went yesterday evening. We ordered Dahi Wada. It was spoiled and seems it was stale (May be 3-4 days). We thought of checkout and brought this into the notice of the Manager. The lady (Don't know her name) was arrogent. We very politely started telling her that we are just bringing this to your notice because it should not be repeated with some one else. But instead of apologizing she stared making faces and behaving rude with us. She said there is nothing wrong with the food. We asked her to call the person who has prepared the order and let him taste it. Intially she got angry and said why that person and not me. Our aim was to just make that person realize so that next time this will not happen with anyone. For a moment she went inside and came back after significane amount of time telling us that he threw that ordered item. We thought how they can throw the item instead of analyzing why customer returned it. They must be knowing that it was their fault. We paid for the remaining order along with the tip (We decided to pay tip as this was not a fault of the person who was serving the order) and left the restaurent deciding will not go back. Friends, if it's your call to decide wether to go there or no and even if you go, before letting your kids to start having the food, you give it a taste test.

I hv been to all indian restaurants in Charlotte... but never rated such least in my life time... The Sunday buffet is a diaster... they hv named the restaurant south Indian food... hope they hv no idea abt south Indian food... The only four south Indian items in the buffer wer, masal dosa(tht to too small n one per person in buffet) n watery sambar n chutey for dosa.. not the rice sambar.. n upma, bajji n rasam.... wer no salt n oil in upma... even the rest kept north Indian food wer poor in quality.. except this restaurant u can go to any indian buffet, u find lots of veg varieties n good starter n dessert also... here only one horrible dessert is rice pudding(hope they don't know wt pudding is, it was jus rice in milk with sugar)...not even 1 paneer item in veg buffet.... n hv even tasted this resturant food in a party once... wer the sambar rice was such horrible watery main course...n gravies wer too spicy... not even one item was good to taste...If u really wanna waste ur money n come back starving, u can choose this place..

The owner is friendly. Prices are reasonable. Location in the city is not very convenient. The dishes would taste much better if the SAMBHAR and CHUTNEYS had more flavor.
