I was moving to the Charlotte location and have been choosing Marriott locations to stay at for the past year. I chose to stay here because of my family being with me. I arrived a day before with my dog and was told that because of him, we would have to be on the ground floor. Okay, not my preference but I understand policy. When I went to the room, I wasn't the most modern room, but it was relaxing none the less. I flushed the toilet and tried the light in the bathroom to which both were not working properly. I called the front desk and the gentleman gave me a new room.

The reason cleanliness is not a 5 is because when I walked around the hotel, the grass was not maintained well. I also saw many spiders out there and happened to of killed one in my original room.

Rooms are a 4 to me because the first room had seen better days. The bathroom tub had scratches on it, Crack on the wall by the tub and the main room door looked like someone had punched it.

I am enjoying my stay being in the new room and really appreciate the service that was given to me when I brought up my issues to the front desk. I would recommend this hotel to traveling families. More
