Made reservations for three nights, 8/23- 8/25 2013 unable to keep, called Ramada -Charlotte and cancelled stay, the clerk advised that the matter would be taken care of. Ramada charged for all three (3) nights . I seek a refund for two of the three nights as a no show. Confirmation # 88654966

We booked for 4 nights hoping to have a base of operations for a trip in Charlotte. It was affordable, but that was about it. There were other hotels that were the same place and I wish we would have picked one of them. Trouble started with check in. Could not find the reservation we booked on Priceline. After a 30 min search, finally found it.

Got to room and it was ok. About what you would expect at an economy hotel. The fridge didnt work at all. The freezer section would barely keep drinks cold.

Ok, now the service. Like I said, we intended to use the hotel as a base. We would go do some activities during the day and come back in the afternoon to shower and dress for supper. We thought. When we would return, there were never any towels. After the first day of having to walk down to the office to complain and finally bringing them, we decided to participate in there "GREEN" program of reusing towels. They said if you would leave the wet towels hanging they would leave them as to conserve water usage. Fine. But alas they took them anyway. Again had to go to complain. Third day same thing, only..this time said they could not give us new towels until they got out of the dryer! I would say there were only 5 units being used. They wouldn't even go into another room and get us some new ones. WTF. So no towels for afternoon shower. Had to blow dry. How do you not replace towels when you take them!??? Apparently they don't even have ONE set of spare towels.

Anyway...I don't know what continent likes warm milk with cereal and stale rolls....

Second night was interrupted with screaming fight and door pounding, with statements like "Give me my money! you took the stuff!" just saying. Actually not suprising, appearance of the other residents.

Coffee cups were not replaced, so no cups after the first night.

We would have gone somewhere else if we had not prepaid, Almost decided to anyway. But stuck it out, regrettably.

WOULD NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN!

My wife and I had made reservations for a handicap accessible room. When we arrived, the front desk had our reservations, but no mention of a handicap accessible room. That did get changed, so no problem there. We drove around to our room, and upon walking in, there was a musty smell, as if the room had not been properly cleaned and aired for quite some time. Upon walking into the bathroom, I noticed that there were little wiggling things in the toilet, and there were critter droppings in the floor from the drain to the shower. We promptly checked out, because my wife and I don't want to stay anywhere that has that kind of nastiness in any room. We were going to be keeping our 5 month old granddaughter for the weekend, and this was no place for her to be in. We asked for a refund, and the only reply we got from the front desk clerk, is that the manager had gone home for the evening. We left our phone number, and was assured that the manager owuld be in touch with us. We checked in at a different hotel. The manager had not offered to call us by Saturday afternoon, so my wife called the hotel, and was told the manager was out. We finally received a call from a desk clerk, who told us that we would receive a refund, no apologies, no explanations. As of today, that refund has not materialized. After this experience, I will not ever stay at a Ramada, nor will I recommend that anyone do so.

Room Tip: Go to a different hotel. No photos. We just wanted to get out of there..
