“Very yummy!”
Reviewed 5 May 2014

We have been here a number of times, only for dinner though. We really enjoy this restaurant. Food is always very good. They have inside and outside dining available. Nice to have the option. Large wedding party the last time we were there, so we were happy we made reservations. Next time we are there we will try breakfast. Hear it is very good too!

“Very slow service.”
Reviewed 4 May 2014

The food was ok, but the service was very slow. We waited 40 minutes for a salad and a chicken salad sandwich. There wasn't many people in the restaurant so We couldn't understand the delay.

Hi, thanks for the review. Megan was your server and explained we have a changeover of 30 minutes between breakfast and lunch on the weekends due to high volume. She agreed to let your group sit and wait and even accommodated you with food and drinks while you were waiting. Kudos to her for a job well done. She actually went the extra mile to make you happy!!!

“Wonderful food and atmosphere!”
Reviewed 20 April 2014

My daughter and I went on a overnite trip to Lake Lure. We were told we needed to try the soup and half sandwich meal. It was a whole sandwich and it and the soup were delicious! We loved Chimney Rock! The people are so friendly! Loved the cinnamon buns!

“Great Breakfast-”
Reviewed 17 April 2014

While visiting Lake Lure, Medina's was recommended to us. There is a small town feel to the place- even though we waited for them to open up, there was a several of the regulars already inside at their table when we entered. We were greeted immediately and told to choose a table.

DH got their homemade hash with a egg on top and marbled rye toast. The hash was tasty and toast was thick and had been grilled giving it a nice flavor. I had the cranberry walnut french toast- served with a dusting of confectionery sugar and real whip cream- I definitely would recommend.

The staff was extremely friendly. Our waitress/the owner told us about their dinner specials for Friday night- they sounded real tempting and we plan on going back then.
