This is a wonderful place to stay. Clean, Warm, Comfortable, with good WiFi and very nice owners. Breakfast was wonderful. We will stay there again. The scenery is lovely there as is the Bed & Breakfast.

My husband and I spent 2 nights at the Rockford and it felt more like staying with family than at a hotel or typical b&b. Hannah and Doug are wonderfully hospitable people. Breakfast was amazing both days and they certainly send you away full and prepared for the day. The rooms are very comfortable and clean and there was always some kind of fresh muffin in the kitchen. The house has great old world charm having been built in the 1800's, and even with modern day renovations Doug and Hannah and their crew took care to maintain the wonderful heritage of the house. They were very knowledgeable about the area which helped immensely with planning activities for our time there. We will definitely be returning anytime we head toward the NC wine country.

What a cute and quaint Bed and Breakfast in the heart of wine country. We loved the garden, breakfast was delicious and their hospitality was incredible. They provided great recommendations for local restaurants, vineyards and hiking trails. Would definitely recommend.

Everything about this B&B was outstanding! First, it is in a beautiful 1800's farmhouse with loads
of historical character. The view over the vineyard from the vineyard suite was terrific. The breakfasts were better than great, they were incredible. It is very peaceful and serene. The hosts, Doug & Hannah were super friendly and easy to talk to. Hannah knows about all the really good restaurants in the area. Just stick to her recommended list and you won't go wrong.
The rooms and the bed were both spacious and very comfortable. The bathrooms were spotlessly clean.

We had the pleasure of staying at the Rockford Inn B&B in September 2012. Innkeepers Hannah and Doug were gracious hosts and made sure all of our needs were met. We had full access to the house and were able to enjoy our pizza dinner and one of the movies available from the B&B's library. The next morning we were treated to a delicious breakfast and got to know Hannah and Doug and learn about the Inn's history. The next time we journey back to NC's wine country we have our perfect get-away spot!

My wife & I had a wonderful and peaceful stay at the Rockford Inn. This was our first experience at staying with a B-n-B and I don't know how it could be any better. Hannah & Doug are "good people" as we say back home. We enjoyed our conversations with them as well as sharing a lot of common interests, whether it was motorcycles or vineyards. They are very connected and involved with their community and thereby bring a wealth of historical information about the area, enriching our conversations. The breakfast was fantastic, especially Hannah's stuffed french toast (blueberries). Yum! Their recommendations of places to dine or sights to see provides plenty of choices for local activities. You'll enjoy the quiet and simplicity of the community, but there are many places within reasonable driving distance to visit as well. Our outing to Pilot Mountain was spectacular. We intend on returning to visit again, and we will certainly stay at the Rockford Inn. Be sure to say "hi" to Rascal when you visit. Ted
