“Amazingly Good”
Reviewed 16 December 2012

We had the chicken parm and the calzone. Both were excellent. I had special request for my chix parm, and they handled it great. Their alfredo sauce was amazingly good too. The waitress was sweet and really attentive. To top it off the prices were very reasonable, especially considering the beautiful decor and charming atomsphere. The only negative was the pizza dip appetizer, we found the ricotta mixture to be a little sickening/overpowering, but that is just a personal preference.

“Wow - excellent dining”
Reviewed 25 November 2012

The food was marvelous - I had catfish with a roasted red pepper sauce, husband had spaghetti and (large) meatballs and an excellent caesar salad.

Bread was both small baguettes and garlic bread both marvelous and a choice of butter and/or dipping oil.

Coffee was not up to par with the rest of the meal and the only wines on the list are from the Shelton Vineyards...which I can understand, but would have liked to have had a choice.

“Food was terrific”
Reviewed 7 October 2012

The staff is working a few kinks out at this newly opened restaurant next to the Hampton Inn. We had chicken parmesan and a great chicken panini. The salads were fresh and tasty. I was so happy that a salad could be the side for my sandwich. Much better than the usual fries!

“Maybe we will come back after they work out the kinks.”
Reviewed 30 September 2012

This restaurant was built and opened just a couple months ago and we were looking forward to having a nice restaurant in the area. We visited at lunchtime when they had just opened for the day and were their first customer. The decor is typical new Italian restaurant (I am sure you know what I mean.) and was comfortable if a little cookie-cutter. We ordered sandwiches that were slightly overpriced for what they are- no expensive but basic ingredients. We asked for fries as our side, but for some reason the fryer would not light that day. The waitress gave us an option to have a salad instead, and as I can't eat lettuce, I selected the veggie salad. The veggie salad was very fresh but the dressing was a little bland- could have used more spice and salt for seasoning. It did take quite a while to get our sandwiches after the salads so something was up with the kitchen as there were only 4 people in the restaurant. I had the Primavera Hero which was tasty and husband had the Chicken Florentine which he enjoyed. Basic sandwiches overall. The waitress was pleasant enough but never checked back to see if we liked the food and we could have used more water! I paid with cash and got change back in all big bills so I had to leave more than I would have based on the service- I would have asked for smaller bills but she never came back! We didn't feel like waiting, so I resentfully left her a tip way too big for her service. Turn off!
