This restaurant was recommended by some locals and it turned out to be very good. We ate there for lunch and would love to come back & try it sometime for dinner.

Had the pleasure of dinning at Blue Point three times during my annual vacation to Duck. Enjoyed a great crab salad on heirloom tomatoes for lunch one day and tile and rock fish for dinners. I spend all year anticipating Blue Point's homemade ice cream. So amazing!

Not cheap and with a limited selection - 7 entrees. However, Gordon Ramsey advocates a small selection and make sure you do them well. All four of us liked our food - not being able to eat fish/seafood meant only 2 entrees possible for one guest. Wonderful view of the Sound. Friendly, efficient service - very enjoyable dinner.

Spur of the moment choice for lunch while in Duck, turned out great. Wonderful view of the bay while we ate. Crab cake sandwich was very good and service was very good as well. Definately recommend if you're in the area.

It was an overcast and rainy day when we were shopping around in the stores near Blue Point Bar & Grill and so we decided to grab a little lunch. I will agree with other reviewers that I was a little surprised by how much more "high end" this place was even with bar & grill in the name. We did not find it pretentious as all though and perhaps with lunch, there was a more laid back vibe going on.
Our server was attentive and kind. We had a booth with views out to the sound - and it even looked calm and pretty (in a nature way) with the clouds and rain. I very much enjoyed my lunch special - a lump crab on top of tomatoes and arugula with some balsamic vinaigrette. It was delicious. My husband had a catfish sandwich and he very much enjoyed it.
We wish now we could have gone back for dinner one night. We highly recommend this restaurant for lunch or a dinner out and we will definitely go back when we return to OBX.
