We stopped going to Applebee's in 2006, but recently gave the chain another try in December 2013. This was mainly because the restaurant was convenient to our hotel. The staff was friendly and our food came quickly, but the burger was missing many of the toppings, and the fries were cold! Also, there was some sort of happy hour trivia game going on in the bar area. This was a major distraction and made dinner conversation impossible. If you are looking for a place to eat dinner with your family on a weeknight, then skip this place! Outback and Red Robin are across the street.

Applebee's food was average. Mine was over done. They did have a gluten-free menu and were very helpful Their service was very good and everyone was friendily. i am not sure if I would return to this restaurant.

Well friends..it is what it is...Applebee's...average food at an average price...nice and clean...TV's on the walls...OK beer selection...nice staff....you know what you get and this is no exception.

Generally, Applebees is a nice place to go, but our visit was bad at this Applebees. The service was great, but we had flies flying around the entire time we were dining, my wife found a bug in her salad, another guest's spinich was old and wilted, and even another's fish was bland tasting. We will not return to this Applebees.

We went when it was still in Chapel Hill, but this one has a different vibe. Same ho hum food, an annoying server, and a floor littered with crumbs. Won't return. My main complaint is it's impossible to carry on a conversation due to so many tv's and a server who seemed to desperately want a good review. My secondary complaint is that the food just didn't seem fresh.
