I am huge fan of Nosh for not only their food but also because they are a huge supporter of the Durham community. They provide support to a variety of organizations and really work hard to make you feel like family. On top of all of that the food is great. A good mix of different types of food for all meal times. I particularly like their breakfast, providing huge portions and enormous pancakes. It does get very busy and the line can get very long but I will admit that it is well worth the wait.

Don't know why we waited so long to try Nosh. It was great!! They were very busy but managed to take our order and serve us quickly. I got the chicken and cheese biscuit which you could tell it had just been made. HOT chicken, fresh biscuit! My Wife got the breakfast pizza but after trying I wanted to trade meals. We can not wait to go back and try something else. Also they let you bring your dog and sit outside which is very cool!

This is a place your own order at the cashier eatery which they then take out to you. Just out of curiosity, why is there always a 'tip' line in such arrangements? Anyway, it is probably a popular university hang-out due to the reasonable prices. However, when cooks are part time, they don't tend to know much about food and cover everything with salt, probably to dangerous levels. Someone should teach them about the word 'dash' or keep the salt locked away to be used only by experienced food preparers.

The other thing about this place is that it is so incredibly LOUD. They really need something to make it less deafening. It's not enjoyable when you have to shout at the person next to you to be heard. Admittedly, this is common in many places that students frequent but still, I would hope Nosh can add some soft surface to absorb the cacophony of sound. The din is all but unbearable. And for me, these two items are game killers.

This place tries very hard to have "eclectic" food, but I personally just don't think it's very good. Just recently had the vegetarian Coach's Queso and it tasted fine, but was extremely greasy. Sweet potato fries are good but cost extra. Wouldn't recommend for vegetarians, despite the fact that they seem to have this reputation.

Food was good but not excellent. The smoothies were too frozen and took time to dissolve. Service was ok. Had to tell the server to clean up the table
