Owner description: The 1767 Chowan County Courthouse is often referred to as one of the finest examples of Georgian Colonial architecture. A North Carolina State Historic Site, you can visit the 1767 Chowan County Courthouse from Tue-Sat and take a guided tour to learn about it's history. The Courthouse is run by Historic Edenton State Historic Site, located at 108 N. Broad Street.

The 1767 Courthouse is amazing! Seeing the interior with a volunteer guide was quite a bonus for me. I had only looked at the exterior on previous visits.
