It's been two years since our last visit. We still enjoy the atmosphere here in Fontana Village and the outdoor seating on the deck at the Wildwood Grill provides a relaxing setting. Not crowded at all on a Friday in July just after noon. Very pleasant servers were on hand. The menu has changed a bit and our choices of chicken wings and an order of onion rings seemed a safe bet. The garlic wings were quite different with their heavy smoked flavor, and we enjoyed them for the most part. Not special enough to rate them more than average however. The same with the onion rings which seemed like the frozen type, not made on the premises. Certainly an OK lunch after visiting the area. $20 with tip certainly isn't expensive. Would we come back a 3rd time? Perhaps, with the atmosphere and location being so nice. Maybe a different choice from the menu would help. There is plenty of parking in this very safe area.
