We have eaten here several times and it has always been good. Everything is homemade and the chef does a nice job with the presentation of each menu item. The tomato soup is very good and if you like quiche, try it when they have it. The quiche is quite delicious, in fact everything is very good

We recently moved to Norh Georgia and after visiting Brasstown Bald, we decided we would drive the scenic route to Franklin, NC. Didnt have much of an idea of what we would find but ended up on Main St. At an outdoors store and couldnt find what we were looking for. And if u have never been to Main st. You should go because the old street setting with lots of cute little stores brings you back to a simpler time. As we decided to head back home we spotted Rosebud Cottage and said what the heck. It would be nice to bring back a little something from North Carolina. And my boyfriend spotted the sign for food! We went in on the store side and it smelled amazing. Its very well organized, not overcluttered like some other little stores. We ended up buying some candles so our house would smell as good as the store. Then we had decided to grab a drink and leave but after seeing the menu board we decided we needed a late lunch. He had a peppercini sandwich and cus cus and i had a chili dog with chips. Diverse menu yet simple and very very yummy!!!! The owner chatted with us a bit, she is a very sweet lady. Very good service. Personal attention and fantastic food was right up my alley. I will return at least once a month, its an hour and a half from our home, but is worth the trip! I cannot wait until we return again.

After shopping with one of their helpful, friendly employees in gift shop, had lunch. Sandwiches, chicken salad and very nice atmosphere. Crowded, busy place. Others enjoyed it also. A good down-town place to eat. Try it-you'll like it!

The Rosebud Cottage is an excellent choice. You can't go wrong with that turkey sandwich - great place to get some lunch.
