Close to waterfalls (Hunger Games 10 min), Biltmore (25 min), white water rafting (1.5 hrs), big chain restaurants & stores, etc. Hendersonville is a sweet, safe town with rolling hills and clean air. The Ramada Hotel was very inexpensive (so was a little hesitant at first), but pleasantly surprised because overall the hotel was clean, convenient, and safe. The hotel was up-to-date with granite in the bathroom, and the beds were bleach clean. The carpets were okay would rather tile, so kept flip flops on at all times. The Complimentary Breakfast Bar and area was spotless. The staff kept the food and coffee filled at all times. This is a Pet-Friendly hotel.
We stayed at the Ramada on the way to our campsite in the Pisgah Forest, which was about 45 minutes away. We arrived too late to set up a campsite, so we were just looking for a place to sleep. The Ramada is just that. For approx 80$, I thought the hotel was good enough. The beds and bathroom were nice and the rooms were renovated. The hotel halls and facilities are very dated. The breakfast was good too; It was a typical continental breakfast (bagels, oatmeal, juice, coffee), but it also had a waffle maker and eggs and sausage substitute. Not exceptional, but good enough.
As a town, Hendersonville is not very impressive, so I wouldn't recommend this hotel for more than one night. If I was ever in the area, I would consider staying here again.
We were here on a bus trip. Staff was very friendly and helpful. If I have any negative it would be the fact that there is nothing within walking distance. They had plenty of table space for breakfast and selection was very nice.
Thank you for your review. We are so glad to hear that if you were in the area you would stay here again. We sure hope you follow through as it would be nice to have your group back with us, we really enjoyed having you stay! We wish there was stuff within walking distance as well, but luckily all there is to see and do Hendersonville isvery close --- so the next time you come through there will be plenty for you to do! Thanks again!
