The 1st cabin is very nice and suited for guests. The 2nd one is a one room cabin that appears very lived in. We had small children and had to move knickknacks and photos out of their reach while we were there. I was not sure about it when we got there but we ended up spending most of our time together hanging out in the smaller cabin. The setting is beautiful. It was awesome to sleep with windows open and waking up to see different animals roaming in the grass on the other side of the creek. The water fall - a mile or so up stream is awesome. You have to get your feet wet to get to it so bring water shoes.
Just got back home from a great and relaxing New Years get away. Our cabin was very cozy and met all our needs. We ran into a small issue with the fire place on our first night but the owner was just a phone call away and helped us through how to get it going, very responsive and helpful. Would recommend my family and friends to visit!
Peaceful cabin right by a creek my family loved staying here. The waterfall is just a short hike and very beautiful! The owner answered every question promptly and even mailed us a forgotten item.
Had plans to stay here prior to Hurricane Mathew. Contacted the owner and he was very courteous and accommodating. Allowed us to come sooner and stay later due to evacuation mandate. Lovely place. Location is convenient and near town (approx 10 min drive). Cabin sits on a creek overlooking views of a mountain side pasture where wild turkeys can be seen daily. A short walk to trails are nearby and lead you to a beautiful 40-50 ft tall waterfall. Would definitely recommend. There are two cabins next to each other. Could rent both or just the one. We stayed in the one with a master bedroom and loft. No internet or cable...We brought a small TV and DVD player to watch movies at night. With a glass of wine in the evenings and hot cup of coffee on the front deck in mornings , made the end and the beginning of the days special!
