High marks for most everything from friendly, engaged staff, to décor, the inviting porch and very good food. The inn is old and nicely restored but still has squeaky floors, but the noise was not objectionable. On a busy weekend, our room,#8, Narcissus, did not have hot water Friday morning and evening and again Saturday morning. Another couple in our party had a nearly closed lavatory drain and had to brush their teeth in the bathtub. Eventually, even the tub drain stopped working. The staff's remark for these problems was basically "old pipes." When asked for some good will compensation for the lost service, the answer was a flat "no" without acknowledging the problems. If travel is on week days and the Inn is not full, an enjoyable stay can be expected. For busy weekends, some rooms may lack basic plumbing capabilities. Great location for walking downtown Hendersonville.

Room Tip: Rooms away from Church Street are quieter and a little darker at night.

Inn on Church hosted my high school reunion this past weekend. I elected to stay there as a special treat for myself and my husband. Other than the decision to go to the reunion, staying at the inn was the best decision of the weekend. The food was entirely tooooo good. I vote for a return visit for our next reunion!

Excellent in all aspects! Pleasant Staff, Great Food, Beautiful Inn, Wonderful Atmosphere. We went to the arts & craft show and the Inn could not be more centrally located, one block from main street. Shops & Restaurant are within very easy walking distance. Don't miss the Inns Breakfast - amazing! Inn on Church Street and Henderville are wonderful.

My wife and I stayed the weekend in the Giuliani room. Had a wonderful weekend, great breakfasts, and a very delicious dinner in the restaurant. The owners and their helpers were friendly and helpful--we couldn't imagine a better weekend in the mountains and in Hendersonville. Lots to do and beautiful weather topped it off to make it a very special weekend for my wife and I. We will definitely return to stay again.

Room Tip: Rooms range from 1st floor to 3rd floor. Ours was on 3rd floor but no real issues on the walk up...

What a wonderful treat to stay at the Inn on Church Street. Joe, Stephanie and all their employees are so warm, friendly and provide excellent service. This was our first stay and will not be our last. The inn has so much personality and beauty in addition to being convenient to downtown Hendersonville with some great antique and art shops. However, one of their best features is their fabulous food. We ate lunch the first day which was awesome and immediately made reservations for dinner the same night and ate most of our meals at the inn over our 3 day stay. I also can't say enough good things about their chef and "wait staff". They are the best ever. Overall a wonderful anniversary trip with special thanks to Joe, Stephanie, Jennifer, other Stephanie, Allison, and Ron for making our stay so special!!!

My boyfriend and I came here over Labor Day weekend for the Hendersonville Apple Festival. It was perfect for us. It's right next to downtown, so some great restaurants and stores are within easy walking distance. Everyone was incredibly kind to us and our room was beautiful. We had ordered a bottle of wine to be in our room when we arrived, and there it was sitting on the nightstand with two glasses! They also had complimentary apples available on every floor, as it was apple harvesting season. The breakfast was hearty and great and the dining room was lovely. I would be excited to stay here again and would recommend it to any traveling couple. The one thing I would say is that it is not particularly family-friendly. I'm sure one child would be fine here, but bringing more than one would not be the best idea. The floors are rather creaky and the whole atmosphere is quiet and peaceful, which I think would be hard for kids playing together to handle. But if you're leaving your kids at home, or don't have any, this is the perfect place to stay in the mountains!

Room Tip: All the rooms are great, but be prepared to walk up quite a flight of stairs if you're on the th...
