“CUTE FOR PHOTOS”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 29 July 2013

The building is formerly the City of High Point Chamber of Commerce, built in the 1920s. Ownership of the property had been in dispute for a while. I'm not sure if the litigation has been resolved. Until recently this office building was vacant. Nevertheless, you can take some fun photos. "Honey, I shrunk the kids" comes to mind.

The building itself has not offered public amenities or food, but these are available at nearby businesses.

The original chest is about 20 feet high. Another chest at 38 feet now serves as the front entry way for the International Home Furnishings Market, a trade building for the semi annual furniture market shows.

“Very Cool”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 12 July 2013

My kids thought it was the coolest thing. It's located right on the street so be careful of oncoming traffic and park across an open parking lot so you can get a good picture. We love Roadside America.

“AWESOME! Great photo opportunity and it's 100% FREE!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 11 July 2013

My husband and I stopped here over the 4th of July weekend because my grandparents remembered this attraction from the 1940's/1950's.

Since the original chest of drawers, they've added to the height, changed and updated the hardware, and gave it a nice coat of stain.

The attraction was FREE and so much FUN! We took pictures and had a blast before spending 6+ hours walking through 1,000,000 sq of furniture at Furnitureland South.
