The building is formerly the City of High Point Chamber of Commerce, built in the 1920s. Ownership of the property had been in dispute for a while. I'm not sure if the litigation has been resolved. Until recently this office building was vacant. Nevertheless, you can take some fun photos. "Honey, I shrunk the kids" comes to mind.
The building itself has not offered public amenities or food, but these are available at nearby businesses.
The original chest is about 20 feet high. Another chest at 38 feet now serves as the front entry way for the International Home Furnishings Market, a trade building for the semi annual furniture market shows.
