the socks. Drove a friend by that had lived in WS for 14 yrs and had never seen it. She was delighted to see this unusual sight. So much reminded me of the movie "Michael" with John Travolta

“World's Largest Chest-of-Drawers”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 13 May 2014

Unless it's recently changed, there's really nothing to see or do there. I grew up in High Point and visit often. You can't go inside the Chest. And, it was quite run down the last time I saw it. Perhaps someone will correct me who lives there or has been there recently.

“Kitsch-y Cool”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 14 March 2014

Only worth seeing if you happen to be in High Point already. If you are, then go see it and combine it with a viewing of The Big Chair at the Thomasville furniture factory in Thomasville a couple of towns over. Then head over to Winston to have lunch at Skippy's. That's a fun fast road trip plan!

“It's big alright!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 3 December 2013

If you're in the area, it's worth seeing. It is several stories high and on a residential/small business side street so you can park nearby and walk to it to take pictures. Evidently, it's for sale so if you want to own the World's Largest Chest of Drawers, now is your chance! After this, drive south about 30 mins or so to see the World's Largest Chair in Thomasville, NC and there is a bakery nearby called Sprinkle of Sugar that is very good.

“Not a real attraction.”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 25 November 2013

Not a real attraction. Just a drive by on a side street. I live less than a mile from it. Always needs painting.
