My wife and I "stumbled upon" La Pizzeria about 8 months ago. We had heard that they offered some of the best handmade pizza in the area. We tried it - and thought it was the BEST pizza we had tasted in this Triad region. The homemade crust is the best - not just when served at the restaurant but also is better when we warm up the leftover pizza in our home oven. While the menu features different pizza selections, the owner, John will make you ANY combination you want - with either a thin crust or a thick crust - just ask him. We eat pizza there once per week and highly recommend it for those who want great pizza in a casual and very friendly restaurant. And when we don't have the time to eat in on some evenings - we take out.
