“Delightful meal and service.”
Reviewed 17 October 2010

A consistently excellent and very busy restaurant. Make reservations early, especially during high seasons (summer and leaf seasons). Food is pricy but worth it. Portions are large. Traditional and new Italian cuisine. Excellent wine selection. When at capacity, the room is loud.

“A must for us every time we visit Highlands”
Reviewed 15 October 2010

My wife and I have been dininig at Paoletti's for 8 years now. We have found everything on the menu to be authentic and very consistent throughout the years. When friends return who we have taken there on previous visits they always want to go back. Also their selections of wine is over the top and I have never been told "sorry we just sold the last bottle". They have the inventory to back up the list. Dining at Paoletti's is always a highlight of our trips to the Mountains. Oh yeah... To further enjoy your evening request Russ as your server. Very professional, knowledgeable, dry humor, and fun!

“The best way to end a perfect getaway!”
Reviewed 11 October 2010

The owner of Chez Liberty in Knoxville recommended we try Ristorante Paoletti while staying in Highlands. Thank you Ross for the perfect suggestion. Regenia says it was the best steak she has ever ate. The stuffed chicken was a dish to experience. I have a new desire for salad with blue cheese dressing. Best dining experience since Chez Liberty!

“Great Food and Atmosphere”
Reviewed 10 October 2010

We chose Paoletti mainly because of its proximity to our hotel and the menu. The atmosphere and service reminded me of fine restaurants in New York City. Dinner started off with delicious bread and olives. We were also pleasantly surprised to find out that our dinner included a salad, which was delicious. Food and service were excellent. The only complaint I had that they did not have any wines by the glass for under $10. The glass I had was $16, which seemed high for what you got. Other than that – great restaurant.

“Best Italian cuisine I have ever had, as good or better than Little Italy, NYC”
Reviewed 6 October 2010

I am a professional chef, and on a trip to the Old Edwards Inn, my wife and I had researched restaurants in the area and decided to try Paoletti. On a Sunday night in early October, the restaurant was packed! The hostess was quick to greet us, gracious in her describing a short wait as tables turned over, and got us a wine list, and bottle of wine right away as we waited to be seated. The Chianti was delightful, and reasonable priced. Our waiter was very outgoing and nice, and by the end of the evening we felt like we were lifetime friends. The food was superb! We had the mussels, stuffed canneloni and caprese. It could have not been any better, and I myself would be hard put to make it as good! Definitely a must when in Highlands.....................
