It's always hard to find a sandwhich shop that really sets itself apart from every other sandwhich shop in the area....I mean really.....how hard is it to make a sandwhich??

Well at the Sports Page, be prepared for quality food that tastes simply amazing. Flavors were on point and the prices were competitive, especially when considering you are in the upscale, tourist town of Highlands. They were super busy and yet our food came almost immediately! Service was prompt and friendly.

If you are downtown, this is a must for lunch! Be sure to try out the reuben! It was delicious!

It's wonderful when your initial impression is far surpassed by the actual experience. That was the case for us as we entered the Sports Page in downtown Highlands. Not expecting much at all. When you get to the counter a delightful variety of choices is available. Homemade soups, sandwiches, specials. We ordered the Reuben with potato salad and cole slaw as sides. Also a bowl of the butternut squash soup. The staff brings your order to the table. The soup was very flavorful and a real taste treat. The Reuben was thick with corned beef and just delicious! The coleslaw has a flavor that was one of the best ever. The potato salad is good, like a baked potato salad. Even the pickle was quality. The staff was smiles, smiles, and more smiles as they asked if everything was fine through the meal. It certainly was! Highly recommend. A little over $15 for all of this, including sweet tea.

Nice location to grab lunch. Gyro sandwich was good...club sandwich was excellent...potato salad was out of this world! Family owned feel - appreciate the check in at the table to see how things were and offer refills.
