The staff is excellent and the hotel is always very clean and organized. The beds are comfortable and the hotel is comfortable for families. The hotel is currently under renovations so I'm sure it will look even better when complete.

We love staying here when we visit Jonesville. The beds are so comfortable with plush bedding and pillows. Coffee is always available and the staff are very friendly. The only negative is the breakfast area is very crowded with only tables and chairs for less than 20 people. The electrical plugs were loose in our room also. The breakfast is very good.

Would stay elsewhere until renovations are comptleted. Staff was professional, polite and appologetic. Breakfast area was ill equipted, crowded - a mess. Wall paper in room was peeling off the wall, pop-corn ceiling was waterstained, and peeling, curtain at window was ripped, sagging and had holes in it, carpet was stained, frayed and bits of the ceiling had fallen onto it. Condensation on air-conditioner soaked the bottom of the curtain and ruined a paperback book that was left lying on it overnight. Can't imagine why they would even allow guest into that room. Sign on counter warns guest that roof work begins at 8am and continues to 8pm. If other areas of the hotel are as awful as the ones we encountered, hotel should be closed until renovations are completed - or at least sections of it.

Room Tip: Ask for one that has been renovated and is away from roof repairs!

Oct 2013 starting remodel but service and quality was great, you can see they took care of this Hampton because it didn't show it's age. I Love Hampton because you know what to expect no matter where it is at. Good Value and Quality.

This seemed a convenient location after driving the Blue Ridge Parkway for a second day. This was an older Hampton property, with an outdoor pool (think BIG BUGS) and no Jacuzzi. Electrical outlets for our battery-powered cameras and Ipads were insufficient. The hotel tried to compensate with free popcorn and candy in the lobby. There was a Captain's Galley Restaurant next door, with a 10% discount for hotel customers. Alas, this restaurant, and the whole town, were dry. No evening wine for the tired driver tonight!

Room Tip: There appeared to be some form of hotel renovation under way, but this currently is an obsolete prop...

We appreciate your taking time to tell us about your stay at our hotel. We are in full renovation mode and certainly hope you will come back and see our hotel when we have completed. We will address most of the issues you encountered with our renovation. As far as it being a dry town, this too is being addressed with our town commissioners. Met our needs and expections, breakfast not as grand as we have experienced in the past, but still satisfying. Hotel staff was friendly. Did not use pool or workout facilites however, they were available.

This hotel is decorated for every season. The staff is very friendly and the complementary breakfast is very nice with many choices. The rooms are fresh and clean. The are several eating choices near this property and it is convenient to the highway.
