Service was as good as could be expected with over 1000 cars brought into the area and only 4 servers on staff that night. Food was okay and priced fairly. atmosphere was great

We had out of town guests from TX in January. They wanted to experience the local flavor, so we went to Restaurant Forty Six In the town in which we live, Kannapolis, NC. The food was great, very accommodating, and our guests loved the waitresses' soooouthern draaawl! Would go back anytime, also great prices, too.

My husband and I have been to Restaurant 46 many times now for Sunday Brunch. The brunch is buffet style and includes Tea or Coffee from 11-2 on Sundays for $14! The menu changes every week and can be found on their website: http://www.restaurantfortysix.com There are also additional menu items available for $2 each such as pancakes, omelets, or the weekly chef special. Every brunch buffet has a soup, salad, some type of frittata, bacon, sausage, some kind of potato dish, 2 entrees and several different vegetables as well as Danish, muffins, fresh fruit and desserts. It cannot be beat! The chef's soups are AMAZING! The service is usually spectacular. Parties of 6 or more need a reservation. The building that the restaurant is in the center of Kannapolis adjacent from the Amtrak Station and next to the GEM Theatre. The inside is gorgeous with brick accents and hard wood floors and gives you such a welcome, comfortable feeling. I highly recommend trying this restaurant for brunch. We have yet to get out there to try the regular menu but will definitely review that once we get a chance.

The food was really good. Sweet potato chips and fries were well done and nice portions. The molten Gouda under the grilled jalapeno slice on their "Richard" burger was one of the best bites I have had in a while. Worth the drive.
