Not much to enjoy food (didn't order any food based on varieties available, very few items on the menu). Room did not have safe in working condition (was out of batteries, and did not call reception to make it available). Bath tub, shower know was not secured and falling off. Not much amenities provided by hotel available to enjoy beach. Lighting available in the room was extremely poor.
Based on cost would not use this location again. Reception staff not much knowledgeable, just performing routine job of receiving guests, providing room keys, directing towards their room and finally just checking out and asking nothing about experience during stay. While going in and out during stay, seems like no one cared who is coming in and going out.
Good on floor staff maintaining cleanliness.

We appreciate you staying with us but are disappointed to see that your experience was less than perfect. We value customer feedback and will most certainly be discussing your comments with our team. Despite what may have occurred at our hotel, we do hope that you had a nice time while in the Outer Banks area.

We have stayed at the Ramada for the last 4 years. The rooms are clean and the staff is very friendly. We feel we get great accomodations at a very reasonable price.

Madga was our housekeeper and our room was cleaned well and smelled fresh.
The staff are very helpful and friendly. I met Angie and Renita in the hall and I enjoyed chatting with them. They seemed to really enjoy their jobs.

Looking forward to coming back next year!

Room Tip: I like staying on the 5th floor, it's quiet and even the city view is nice!

My son and I spent six days at this hotel for vacation. The location was the main reason. It is very convenient to shopping, the aquarium, Manteo and Duck. We had a room on the 5th floor, ocean front with a balcony. We couldn't use this balcony much because of the condensation (water) running and puddling constantly from the air conditioner as well as the loud noise from the air conditioner. The room really needs to be renovated and thoroughly cleaned. Stains on the walls, ceilings and mold growing in the grout in the bathroom. When we checked in we were pleasantly greeted and checked in by Travers and another young man. They were both very polite and professional but extremely busy between check-ins and phone calls. Everyone else pretty much ignored us until we interjected in their conversations and spoke to them. I struggled terribly trying to get my luggage loaded onto a hotel cart...no one offered to help when we arrived or left. Everything was dirty, sticky and didn't smell clean. When we checked out, there were two girls working the front desk and didn't offer to help us, smile or even say "thank you." My room was completely not serviced by housekeeping on day three when we came in from the beach and got sand on the bedding. So we slept in sandy beds. The front desk said they were scheduled to clean that room and they would send me a "complimentary gift bag." I received two bags of coffee in a plastic bag for the coffee machine in the room, which I already had and never use because you never know when they were last cleaned. The floors were not vacuumed the entire stay. My son dropped some potato chip crumbs the first night and were still there when we left. The staff could not keep up with the dirty pool/beach towels. Actually, the only positive thing I can say about this hotel is that the beach view was amazing... but only from inside or actually on the beach and we very much enjoyed eating at the on-site restaurant. We spent a lot of money. I don't like to be negative, but unfortunately, I was very disappointed.

Room Tip: Our room was second beside the elevator. We heard people coming and going all night. Pool is very...

Your positive comments about our front desk staff, Peppercorns restaurant, and our beach location with its amazing views are greatly appreciated. We do however; offer our sincerest apology for all of the housekeeping issues you experienced during your stay as that is not the level of service we typically deliver to our guests. Despite having an overwhelmingly busy weekend, that is no excuse for the quality of service you received and we are sorry. We plan to look into your comments closely in order to find out how this could have happened so that it will not occur in the future
