“Very good Italian cafe”
Reviewed 2 August 2013

Fresh food, friendly service and very clean. We enjoyed the ravioli, chicken Marsala, great desserts and real Italian espresso. This is not a tourist-y spot at all, great food, value and service.

“A regular stop”
Reviewed 30 July 2013

As a local on the Outer Banks I get to frequent any restaurant I choose...and I choose Franco's quite often! I love the atmosphere, the staff is always friendly and the food is amazing. The figgy pizza with proscuitto is a favorite! The prices are very reasonable and the house red wine is delicious with anything on the menu. Another must try is the side house salad with poppy seed dressing. Amazing. That's all that can be said!

“Who knew?”
Reviewed 27 July 2013

Having just bought a house in the Outer Banks, I'm on a mission to track down the best local everything, and I was lucky enough to stumble into Cafe Franco's on my with my family to the local movie theater. Great traditional and creative Italian entrees, fast and friendly service, wonderful menu, nice bistro kinda vibe without the pretense and very fair prices. It's easy for tourists zipping down the highway to miss...and that's a good thing, since when I return again and again, I hopefully won't have to wait in line to get a table. Go!

“The best Italian Resturant on the Outer Banks!”
Reviewed 26 July 2013 via mobile

Franco's surpasses any of the other Italian restaurants in the area. The food, service, and atmosphere were exceptional. We shared crab and lobster ravioli. The sauce was a fresh pomodoro with a touch of cream. The pasta tasted homemade and the salad had a hint of spices in a delicate Italian dressing. The desert selection was varied. We shared the chocolate mousse covered in Grenache and a chocolate lava cake, wow! Franco's caters to every taste from upscale pastas to pizza and sausage sandwiches. And the coffee is wonderful! Eat at Franco's and enjoy life.

“Classic Italian Created Perfectly!”
Reviewed 22 July 2013

Being from New York my family can very critical of Italian food. Franco's nails classic dishes like Eggplant Parmesan and throws in a few Sicilian specialties like Spedini. The atmosphere is a bit upscale, the prices are reasonable and the portions are generous. If this restaurant was back home, this would be our go to for delicious, casual Italian. The service was very attentive and wine and beer list robust. Highly recommended!
