Description: Our staff at the Outer Banks Brewing Station works hard to give our Outer Banks vacation guests and Outer Banks local guests the best possible service. We are the first wind-powered brewery in the United States. Our innovative menus change with the seasons and include something for everyone. We feature pork and beer specials along with a seafood and meat special every night. Our Outer Banks restaurant features live music in the backyard and almost every night after dinner in the summer months. The backyard, where the wind turbine is, features a beer truck, corn hole, a picnic table-style seating area with a pirate ship playground for the kids! Come relax and kick back with some brews and let the kids play on the playground! Our beer rotation is constantly changing and we brew special beers all year long. We hope to see you here soon!

They had their own beers on tap. I enjoyed the lemongrass one the most. We sat at the bar and had appetizers. The wings aren't really comparable to wings in NY but the hush puppies and sweet potato fries were good. The atmosphere was nice and the service was fast.

I really wanted to love this place. Outside of the hushpuppies, the beer and food were very average. I expected more from this place. The outside "backyard" is amazing and a great place to eat if you have kids. The play area was great along with the cornhole setup and live music.

OBBS is a traditional lunch stop on the way to our beach house. This year, we were disappointed with the beer selection (no Pale or IPA?). On our second of two visits this year (to see if they brewed a fresh batch of IPA), there was still no Pale beers or IPAs. To add to our disillusionment, the service was poor.

Just one of the many Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives stops we make. This one wasn't anything special. It was one of the finer looking brewery restaurants we've been to in our travels and the food choices are unique, but nothing really "popped".

We ordered a couple of appetizers. The one and only worth commenting was the shrimp and grits appetizer (featured on the show). It was a nice set up, complete with sweet potato fries. It was good, but just not enough for us to say, "Can't wait to go back". The flavors overall were just average.

The bar set-up was nice. We particularly enjoyed watching the servers and kitchen staff working just on the other side of the bar. On the other hand, our bartenders could have been a bit more friendly and attentive.

Amazing fresh seared tuna. Lots of good beer on tap. The adult "root beer float" was delicious!
Extremely busy! We were able to grab seats in the bar without waiting on both nights we went here.
