“Excellent food. Great value.”
Reviewed 10 October 2013

Picked this based on reviews here and other sites. Limited menu of dinner entree's but the chef knows how to marry different flavor to make a very tasty dish at a reasonable price. We lucked upon buy one get other 1/2 price night which made it an incredible buy.

Seating for 4 is limited to one place and would not be good for many people. Water was served lukewarm and not cold. Hostess is the waitress, and was not overbearing although some one from Deep South might think so.

I think this is a great value for the beach! The flounder dinners we had would be 1 /3 more at other restaurants and not as generous or as good. The place has good prices, great food, and now needs to work on the mechanics of being a good restaurant ( seating, service)

“Artistic, Fresh & Healthy”
Reviewed 15 September 2013

Wonderful fish with today's veges, rosotto cake and exotic sauce. Juice bar and coffee drinks round out the flavors.I thought i hated beets until i tasted a beet , citrus, ginger concoction . Had to go back the next day for a am second. The 60's strip mall hides a foodie's friend that should always have a line.

“Great gourmet wraps!”
Reviewed 7 September 2013 via mobile

In the past, I've had trouble finding food I've really ENJOYED eating down the the OBX. Typical "tourist trap" places with "frozen fresh" seafood isn't my style.

We stopped into Seaside Gourmet for a quick lunch on our way back north and were very happy with our fish wraps! They were delish! Cute place that I'll definitely return to!

“It's mostly to go but don't let that fool you. Quality is fantastic!”
Reviewed 31 August 2013

They have expanded and have some seating now but mostly they are order and carryout and the quality is great. Only local fresh fish, not meat but don't let that fool you. The taste and quality are worth your time to try out. I love the tuna and the rasoto cake. The wraps alone are a meal that two can split. Check out this hidden gem.

“Great vegetarian food!”
Reviewed 16 August 2013

Don't be confused by the lack of tables and people in this wonderful find! The Seaside Gourmet also includes a coffee house, and it appears as though the entire place if for coffee and take-out. There are only a few tables and no crowd at all. Everything is fresh, well-presented, and interesting! There are fish and chicken options for those fearful of veggie food - but give it a try- its delicious!
