While visting Wilmington we decided to make the short drive about 30min drive including traffic time. The Aquarium itself is small but the tanks are very clean and there's a diverse group of marine life with lots of hands on activities. The cost of admission is reasonably priced at just $8 a ticket. The staff is very friendly. While there you can pet sharks, horse shoe crabs, and sting rays. The aquarium is great for any age group.

Visited it with our two year old. She enjoyed the fishes, but had a blast at the playground and touching pool. It is small but well organized; a few hours to spend here is more than enough to get a good walk around.

My husband and I enjoyed the aquarium but we got there close to closing so we weren't able to see everything. I advise you to get to the aquarium early so you can enjoy everything with no issues

We spent a couple of hours with my young kids. They really liked it.
Parking was easy. We bought yearly tickets for the zoo and the aquariums so it was worth the price. The aquarium has 3 floors and you can spend there a few hours. My kids were entertained by the scuba divers and their show. I liked that some of the guides/volunteers were children themselves, which made my kids more interested in the different types of fish and turtles...

This is a wonderful adventure where you can spend as much time as you want. Some of the ocean's inhabitants can be viewed up close and some which can be held or touched. This is really a special opportunity, especially for children, to connect with and understand more about marine life. It is a beautiful facility, the personnel go out of their way to share their love of the ocean and marine life with visitors. It has lovely grounds and is so educational, including information about the vegetation as well. The huge multi-level aquarium is full of an assortment of colorful marine life with an ecosystem all its own and is really extraordinary as it can be viewed from all sides. We have been several times and still love going back as there is always more and new things to see and enjoy. It is well worth the very reasonable admission price.
