Thanks to the ladies at palm air! The cottage was gorgeous and full of the little things that make a difference. The beds were comfortable and clean. The puppy towel was a nice touch with all the coupons and suggestions in a neat little bucket, we never ran out of things to do. I really dont have enough nice things to say about our experience. If I could give 6 stars I would! Thanks again anne and ea and we'll see you next year!!!!

Loved it. My husband and I were so pleased with our vacation stay with Palm Air. The cottage was very nice, cozy and welcoming! The bed was comfy and the kitchen was great with full size fridge and range. Extremely clean! The office staff were so pleasant and friendly, we will absolutely return to rent from them again. The wine glasses with hershey kisses waiting in the fridge was a sweet surprise. This was our 3rd visit to the area but went through other rental agencies before, we are so pleased to find a place where the staff and management seem to genuinely care about providing customers with the best service, cleanest accommodations, and overall great vacation experience.

Our family loved the cottage, the location was perfect and we could not find a single complaint. The staff even accommodated our request for a special needs family member to have an accessible ground floor bathroom/bedroom! We will definitely stay with palm air again and recommend to all our family and friends.

Never judge a book by it's cover. When we pulled up to our unit, I braced myself for the worst. Was a bit surprised to see that it was in better shape than anticipated. Upon walking through unit, bathrooms were dirty. Tubs had dirt rings and sand in them. I cleaned them myself and still looked bad but much better. My wife showered with her flip flops on the whole time. My bed as well as my 2 boys beds were full of sand before we even went to beach so sand didnt come us. We were excited about microwave only to open it and made us sick to our stomachs to see the rust and condition of it. So never used it. Rates were fair but I guess we got what we paid for. Think that the management office was friendly and professional and rely on others to make sure units are clean and up to par. Maybe need to hire new help. I am in customer service as a manager and have been for over 20 years and know that it takes a great team to be successful. You need everyone to know that their roles are important to success of company. Really feel like cleaning crew could've gave damn!!!

Palm Air Realty apologizes for any inconvenience our customers may encounter when vacationing with us. However, we strongly encourage guests to promptly inform us of any issues to give us an opportunity to correct any mistakes.
Please do not invalidate our cleaning team, as they are a small but mighty crew that clean over 75 properties throughout Pleasure Island. They are extremely dedicated and work very diligently.
Although we maintain updated and fully stocked units with a bundle of amenities, we admit that some units may have natural "wear and tear" that comes with age and general usage. However, we are human and we admit to making mistakes. We are understanding to our guests' needs and standards and we ask our guests to be understanding to us; we have a hard-working team and we are always happy to help! Customer service is the business we are in! In customer-to-business relationships, communication is key.
We also provide an updated photo slide show and description on our website so that quests understand the layout of their desired and/or reserved unit. Guests are well informed about the vacation they book.
We are devoted to creating a fun, friendly, healthy and happy atmosphere for everyone!

We had a great time in a nice condo. But when checking out we went to turn the keys in we reported some toilet problems and a sliding glass door problem. I guess they do not like honesty cause Anne the manager started to chew us out about not calling her when it happened. Keep in mind this is on a weekend and really didn't know they were open. But even if we didn't report it right then there is NO reason that Anne should start chewing out a CUSTOMER. We went as a family and left the condo in great shape. So there was NO partying or rough housing in this condo. It is in total disbelief that she decides to call us 30mins after we leave to tell us that she has charged us $150 for the unstopping of toilet and fixing the door. Upon talking to her about it she then accuses us of leaving marijuana in the condo and says she is going to call the cops. I have asked for a detail bill from the repair and a copy of the contract we signed showing that she is legally able to charge us this repair. Still waiting.... We are also going to file a formal complaint with Visa where she charged us and with BBB. Please is you are thinking about renting from Palm Air Realty just be prepared for this Anne woman.

This is such a disheartening occurrence when a family "blasts" our very hard working company because they are being held to task for their inappropriate, illegal, and negligent behaviors!
There was marijuana found in the night stand and ashes from a burning product on the same night stand.
This ocean front condo is a non smoking unit. The laws in North Carolina also state that marijuana is illegal. That are two immediate violations of our written policies and and the state law.
Our company strives to have every aspect of the rental in fully functioning condition. We rely on the guests to report any concern or items that is not in good repair so we may remedy any problem immediately.
Our office is open 7 days a week 8 hours a day or a message could have been left stating there were problems or issues with items not functioning properly.
At check out time the family reported the commode was sluggish. We have no way to prove this was a problem at check-in as our cleaning team would have reported it, if it was not functioning when they cleaned.
Instead, we sent an emergency plumber to the rental to have this repaired before our next guest. The plumber reported that tampons where stuck in the commode. There was also tampon debris in the trash bin.
When I asked the guest about it she stated "the tampons are flushable". However, the tampons were the source of the "sluggish" moving commode; which had the potential of damaging the property and/or overflowing that the family rented. The event was caused by the guest which is why we opted to charge them the plumbing bill which was $103.00.
The family that stayed in this condo was assisted every step of the way with the reservation and booking process. At one point the family called to inquire about our cancellation policy.
I am greatly saddened that this family has chosen to not take the responsibility for their very own actions and passes the blame onto our company.
I hope their next trip to the island will be much more enjoyable.

Anne, your host, has the best head for business, which for us travelers equals a smoothe sailing vacation. Our accommodations were just as she had explained with all the amenities you could possibly want for a cozy vacation home, away from home. We grilled, we chilled, we did laundry! Anne's detailed check out list made leaving a snap. Its a Prime location amd my family of three had a ball the whole week we were there. Thank you Anne for everything! :)

Room Tip: We stayed in cottage #1 and we liked it very much as did our Kitty ;)
