“Great coffee”

Quaint book store with great coffee. There are a lot of spiritual books and specialty items that you can purchase also.

“An excellent latte, fun gift shop and rocking chairs...”
Reviewed 26 June 2014

Part of the Lake Junaluska Conference Center and Retreat, this expansive cafe in a bookstore/gift shop is a great place to stop after a walk around the beautiful lake pathway. It was my first visit and I was ready for coffee and a treat and was not disappointed. The latte prepared for me was excellent and the homemade-looking scone delicious.
The gift shop has something for all price points and many handmade NC craft items. The pottery I chose was made in Tennessee but the glaze incorporated silt from Lake Junaluska. There are many items as well that are designed for guests attending the Conference Center or Retreat.
There are a few tables inside, but a walk down the hall takes you to a quiet deck overlooking the serene Lake Junaluska. Wooden rocking chairs invite you to reflect on the beauty of the setting while enjoying your coffee.
