We stayed at the Lake Lure Inn and Spa on Saturday, 11/16/2013 and then went on to the Grove Park Inn for 11/17 and 11/18. The Inn is more quaint, more relaxing, the prices are much more reasonable and the food was much better. In my opinion, the only thing the Grove Park Inn has over the Lake Lure Inn is the view. If you want an off the beaten path place that has history and is close to great food and local shops, the Lake Lure Inn is the stop to make!
