The Creekside Lodge in Maggie Valley, NC is an AWESOME motel to stay in! I was there as part of a motorcycle riding group reunion outing, and the folks at Creekside made us feel welcome and very special. The room rates were super reasonable, the rooms were comfy, clean and in great condition. The grounds are spectacular, well manicured and inviting to lounge around in. A nice little creek runs behind the motel, and they have fire pits, picnic tables and patio chairs for the guests to use. The surroundings are relatively quiet, the scenery is OUTSTANDING, there are plenty of eating establishments close by, and the traffic is not too bad for a resort town. Carol and her staff did a great job of taking care of us. I would DEFINITELY stay there again!!!

Room Tip: Ask for a creekside room!!! They also have some "suite" rooms that have cooking facilitie...

We stayed for for five nights for a group event. The rooms were very clean and comfortable and the management went above and beyond to take care of our group. The rates were very reasonable. Fire pits, grills and picnic tables beside the creek were a very nice addition.

Room Tip: Request a creekside room if available. You'll enjoy the view and the creek sounds.

While this lodge isn't new and/or fancy, it's clean and comfortable. The staff is accomodating and friendly. The location is great for exploring the Smoky's, driving/riding on the Blue Ridge Parkway and isn't crowded. And, the creek behind the lodge is a very nice feature.

Maggie Valley Creekside Lodge Is a beautiful place to go. They are very accommodating and affordable. The rooms and grounds are very well taken care of ( better than some of the top named and more expensive places I've been in) and the service is top notch. Carol and her staff make sure your stay is one you'll always remember. This place is so relaxing and beautiful, from the view of the mountains while sitting in your rocking chair outside your front door to the quite and serene sound of the creek while sitting out back.
If you are planning a trip to Maggie Valley NC. I strongly suggest you do yourself a favor and experience this place. I know I will never stay anywhere else when I go back

Room Tip: All the rooms are large and very clean but my preference is the rooms along the creek

I stayed here with a large group of friends for a "motorcycle" reunion for about a week. The staff was friendly, the facility was clean, and the prices are very affordable. We have talked about coming to Maggie Valley every summer for the reunions and having this be where we stay each time if possible. Nothing bad to say about this place. Would recommend it to anyone!

Room Tip: The creek side rooms have good access to spots where you can grill and have a fire.

Great place to stay !!!! The rooms were great and the scenery was unbeatable. i would recommend this place to any one traveling through the area. The staff was great and friendly. The rooms could easily go for $100.00 a night but they were well under that.

Room Tip: The rooms that look out over the creek are great.

This wonderful little hotel is friendly, clean, neat, and kind to your budget. Carol and the staff are wonderful and went above and beyond to keep the "tone" of our group gathering just perfect. They seem to understand their guests, and their expectations, better than most other hotels. They delivered on every facet of a hotel stay. If you want simple basic and less expensive, stay in one of the standard rooms. For a few pennies more, the creekside rooms are more spacious, have a few more amenities, and a small deck overlooking a peaceful babbling creek. We will be back.

Room Tip: Look into a creekside room. Makes you feel a little special for only few dollars more.
