Very good home cooking. Had dinner and breakfast here. both were very good. Would definitely eat there again.

Was unhappy with my experience. I ordered meatloaf. It was dry and tasted like it had been sitting around for awhile. I ordered Mac and cheese, expecting homemade but got what looks like box Mac and cheese that was watery like soup. I was told corn on the cob was gone so ordered rice which was sticky and tasteless.
I cannot recommend this restaurant.
We ate at this resturant last year in September and decided to eat there again last night (June 2018). I am a true southerner so I am picky about southern food but this was very good. Was it the best I have ever had, No, but it was very good. I ordered the fried chicken and it was crisp and moist. The collard greens were very good but not like Paula Dean’s. The prices are inexpensive and they have a good selection. I will be back next year.
Fried bologna and egg sandwich on sourdough. Driest sandwich I've ever eaten. No butter on the bread and a smidge of mayo. It was toast, bologna and an egg. Hardly qualifies as grilled. The toaster is not a grill.
Food and service both are great. No complaints at all. Country style cooking and cozy atmosphere. Staff very friendly
