First of all, it was really easy to book with them. We just called in the morning and we were lucky enough that there was no one else by that point who has booked them. When we got there, they welcomed us and set us up on our horses immediately as soon as we were done with the papers.
My gf hasn't ridden a horse before so when we told them they gave her the nicest horse who was really easy to handle. In the end she said she was very happy with the horse and the trip, and I think it really was a great first time for her. I got a more.. spirited horse, but since I have experience it just made it that much more interesting. There were only four of us during the trail ride, my gf and I, another guy and the guide. The guide told us that he didn't like having big groups and therefore he always tries his best to have small number of people because it feels more personal, which we liked a lot.
The scenery there was beautiful, we rode in the mountain and also by the hills. For more experienced riders, we were told that the guide (not sure if his name was Gary or Scott, he was the owner) normally bring people to ride with the bison. He was also very knowledgeable and told us the history of the mountain and what's happened there. On the plus side, he told us that we could've ordered a lunch of bison burger. Had we known before we booked we would definitely have ordered it.
In the end of the tour, he showed us around the property and to his other animals in the ranch: the calves, other horses, pigs and goats.
All in all, it was a very nice trail ride and worth the money thousand times over.
