Our group of 4 had been white water rafting last year on the Snake River in Wyoming. This white water trip was much more action-packed! We did the 1/2 day trip. Our guide Tim was great. One of our party went over the side of the raft in one of the rapids. Tim performed a successful rescue in a skilled, calm manner. Tim was also very knowledgeable about the River and it's history,
Our other guide Duck was also very good supporting us from the kayak.
We would definitely recommend this white water trip as a fun-filled adventure while in the Asheville area.

Super trip. Duck was an excellent guide. He was well trained and humorous. The trip was on a beautiful part of the river. We all wanted to do it again. My wife our two sons (16 and 19) and I had not been rafting before and weren't sure what to expect. A great adventure for all of us. Be sure to put it on your bucket list.

When planning our trip, I saw that this was the closest/highest rated rafting company to Asheville. All the hype is true! They are incredible. The Marshall outpost takes you to the French Broad River. We did a 1/2 day trip that started at 10 am. It was incredible! Our guide, Tim, was so knowledgeable about everything from the river water levels to the bug that landed on our raft! Ha. Neither of us had ever rafted and the staff made it so comfortable and fun for us. The rafts stop about halfway down the river at Jump Rock. You're able to get out of the raft, climb to the top of this rock over the water and do just what the name implies....jump! We almost signed up for the second trip that day to turn it into a full day trip because we had such a blast! We will definitely be back! Thanks guys :)

My husband and I had a great time rafting. Our raft guide Spencer, was very experienced, friendly, and made sure everyone felt comfortable on the trip. He also new history about the river, which was interesting to listen too. Even though the water was high because all of the rain (which made trip go by faster) it was still a great adventure. The full day w/ lunch trip is the way to go. Half day trips, you miss out on the best rapids. Lunch was good as well. Overall great time and very friendly staff!!!!

Totally worth the whole day trip. A great time for all of us. Good guides, good boats. The rapids are tame but not boring. Will be traveling with this company again.
