“Fantastic food!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 28 May 2014

This place is great and weekend food buffet is awesome. We have also dined here for dinner and the food was superb quality. The service is great and the staff is friendly as well. Highly recommend the Chole Masala and Shahi Paneer.

“Great Weekend Buffet with lots of dishes”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 24 March 2014

As a foodie I love to try out different restaurants and i must say dawat experience perfectly matches with its name. I have been there couple of times, but i love their weekend buffet lunch. You have lots of options including salads, chaat, 3-4 veg and non-veg curries, variety of rice and desserts.

“The to-go food is good too”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 17 December 2013

Picked up a curry here over the weekend and was not disappointed. I usually order pickup from Saffron, which is across the street. Went with Dawat this time and the Saag/Palak Paneer was equally good. Saffron had a slightly better taste and slightly larger serving. But Dawat included a side of "masala" onions and chutney, which went well with the curry.
So I will probably split my pickup orders between these two restaurants.

Food was warm/fresh and ready for pickup within 15 minutes after calling.

“Just wonderful!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 22 November 2013

Really flawlessly prepared food and outstanding service. We dine here at least once a month, and never had a miss. The appetizer menu is especially fine. Do not miss the Cauliflower Manchurian. The Chicken 65 is also extraordinary. As to the mains, all the chicken dishes stand out but the mango and the tikka are to die for. Likewise the shrimp korma and goan shrimp curry. We have not tried the buffet but I would expect great things.

“Cooking with no passion.”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 13 October 2013 via mobile

We read all the good reviews and decided to visit the restaurant. We were very disappointed. The pappadum were soft (which meant they were old), the gobi manchurian was also soft and tasteless, the chilli chicken was not spicy and a had a too strong taste of ketchup. The chicken tikka was a joke - it had never been marinated in curd - and tough to
eat. The naan-bread more looked like a thick slice of pizza than a nana bread. This food was not made with passion! It's a shame because they have all the best, fresh ingredients next door (Indian supermarket).
