“Good food”

Good country ham dinner! Most of the food here is "home made", and good. If you go you MUST try the chocolate pie -- it is GREAT!!

“Great value for really good food!”
Reviewed 16 August 2014

My teen and I stopped on our drive and were really pleased with this restaurant. We were greeted and seated right away. Server was prompt and knew the menu. Food was delicious, although the menu is somewhat limited. We had peach cobbler for dessert - yummy! And the price was fantastic!!

One point - the restaurant is on Scenic Outlet Lane - but don't expect a fantastic view from the restaurant (the view from the parking lot was nice). This isn't a fancy place, but it is a warm and friendly one!

“Classic Diner Done Right”
Reviewed 5 August 2014

This quaint restaurant sits on a hilltop. We were greeted immediately when we entered. Our server came to take our drink orders and told us the specials of the day. Everyone was very friendly and all the servers made sure drinks were refilled and dirty dishes were cleared promptly. Our tossed salads were crisp and included a nice variety of vegetables. The salad dressings tasted homemade. Our dinners were served quickly and everything we ordered was delicious. One of the specials of the evening was blackberry cobbler. We were too full after dinner to eat dessert right away so we asked if we could get the cobbler to go. The answer was a resounding "of course." When we opened the boxes later, we discovered that each box contained enough cobbler for two people, but once we tasted it, we were forced to eat all of it. There is nothing fancy about the Copper Pot but the friendly staff, great food, and family atmosphere make it very special.

“Wonderful Dining Experience!”
Reviewed 27 July 2014

We stopped for gas nearby and happened to see this little gem up top the hill. I quickly googled for reviews and found others were happy so we gave it a try. The prices can't be beat. Less than $4 for eggs, meat and toast. We will go back!!
