For a small winery they have a lot to offer with live music and grilling, picnics, etc. The server was great and the tour very educational. We are looking forward to going back again and again.

We decided to check this out our last day in the area. The wine tasting was wonderful and then they have beer as well, what a treat! The server was excellent and very knowledgeable. Would love to go to the camp out they have in September and do plan on it. The view is very nice. We had a blanket so just relaxed for awhile on the beautiful grounds. Dog friendly too which is very nice. Check this winery out for sure.

We sat outback and were blown away by the view, the Smokey Mountains are great!
Had the full wine tasting, they were okay, nothing I cared for, but don't let that stop you.
We lived in Italy for several years and are very picky about our Vino...
We also lived in Germany and are picky about our beer.
There were 4 different beers and the dark beer was fantastic!
Next time we are in the area we will stop by again.

This winery is a beautiful place to visit. It is lovely any time of year but especially nice in the spring and summer. The Saturday grill fests are not to be missed! This is definitely a hidden treasure.

I've been visiting Round Peak since shortly after it opened, and loved what Ken and Kari have done since they took over. They have added on to the winery and also started a microbrewery. Kari recently held a wine tasting at The Living Room Coffeehouse and Wine Bar in Pilot Mountain, that was well attended, and the Living Room now carries a selection from Round Peak including the Skull Camp label. The views from the covered rear patio (and crush pad) over the vines to the mountains is spectacular, and a lovely place to watch the sun set (summer hours on Fri/Sat till sunset. Truly a hidden gem along the Yadkin Valley Wine Trail.
