As another writer noted, the correct name of this place is Las Palmas.

Also, as most others reported, the interior is sure not fancy, and probably turns many people away before they have a chance to have some of the best Mexican food in the tri-state area of NC/TN/GA. We have eaten at most all of them in all three states, and Las Palmas has the best food of all. A little pricey, but in line with the others. Happy hour features $1 draft beer. Service was great !

Hole in the wall Mexican but good food and price. Chips and salsa was delicious and bottomless. Enchiladas Supremas was yummy but a little smaller then expected. We had $1 Dos Equis in frosty mugs. Place was empty Sun at 8pm.

We were surprised to find an authentic Mexican restaurant in Murphy. The restaurant is small and doesn't look like much from the outside. But the food was fresh and well prepared. We both thought it was some of the best Mexican food we have eaten this side of the border.

Had a nice meal on a Sunday evening when traveling through Murphy on our way to Asheville. The buffet was tempting but we weren't that hungry so we split an order of tasty chicken fajitas.

Reasonable prices and great food. We'll be back!

We only stayed in Murphy one night and I chose this restaurant, I wish we had gone somewhere else. It was nothing special and the place itself was quite run down. When we checked out a child that couldn't have been more than 8 years old was running the register.
