This is a rather strange place. We were the only diners in the rather spartan main dining room on a Saturday night. However, we had a rather good mealand although there was no 'atmosphere' it made a pleasant change to eat in a peacful and (very) quiet restaurant and it was a very personal experience. The waitress was charming and we had an interesting chat with her. The kitchen did sound busy (to say we were the only diners all evening) and people were coming down from the upper floors so maybe there were other less formal eating areas eleswhere?
