Our favorite pizza restaurant is Savages. We have been going there for almost 2 yrs. and have never had a complaint. Real NY pizza with a thin crust. Woodfired oven makes the pizza very special and tasty. Some of the best pizza on the east coast and good and friendly waitstaff.

Its amazing what a woodfired oven can do pizza...Truly an amazing taste with the fresh ingredients Savages uses. Its thin crust is done right and its something you'll be returning for very quickly! We LOVE that they offer a gluten free alternative as well... Great staff and friendly service. Me and mine had an overall GREAT experience here. The feel of a local pizzeria with the taste and flair of fresh Quality...Cant be beat!

Looking for a quick meal, for a good price, with good service? Go to Savage's on Trent Rd. not far from down town. Food is very consistent with some of the best pizza we have ever had. This include living in Boston and visiting NY. They have a good menu with a variety of choices if you are not into pizza. Great lasagna. They also have a limited wine and beer bar. We love it!

My parents and I walked into Savages at about 8:55 on a Saturday night, not realizing that the place normally closes at 9pm. Instead of turning us away, they told us to come on in and we could order whatever we wanted. After my dad ordered his diet soda, we realized that they had already unhooked the soda machine. Instead of telling us "sorry, we can't get you that", they hooked it back up and reassured us that it was no problem. Our pizza was delivered to our table quickly and was cooked perfectly. After enjoying it, we got some homemade ice cream and we were again reassured that we didn't have to leave - we could sit down and enjoy our ice cream at our table. The people working there were extremely friendly and thanked us for coming in, despite our late arrival which surely kept them later. Great restaurant!!

Best pizza we have had in New Bern; great thin crust and flavor. We will definitely return. Great service and we really appreciated the extra touches. They brought out crayons and animal crackers for our kids and made sure that they got the kids food out quickly. They also have an icecream counter in the restaurant, which the kids also enjoyed.

Thank A I
